Obagi-C Rx C-Exfoliating Day Lotion’s combination of 4% hydroquinone and 10% L-ascorbic acid makes this an effective yet mild anti-aging formula. Hydroquinone fades age spots and reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation. At the cellular level, it also accelerates skin turnover, sloughing off dry flaky skin cells to make skin appear clear and radiant. Like hydroquinone, L-ascorbic acid functions below the surface. It is the only form of vitamin C proven to penetrate the skin and stimulate the production of collagen. The low pH level of this antioxidant allows it to absorb into the skin for the best possible results. Together with glycolic acid, hyaluronic acid and antioxidant-rich vitamin E, the ingredients in this vitamin C moisturizer neutralize damaging free radicals and exfoliate skin for a brighter, smoother complexion.
